Corrective Care
At West Maple Chiropractic & Wellness, the second stage of your healing journey is Corrective Care, where our goal is to address the underlying cause of your condition and support lasting improvements in your health.
Many patients experience relief from pain during the first phase of care, but true healing takes place in this corrective stage. If treatment stops once the pain subsides, there is a much higher chance that symptoms will return. Continuing care during this phase helps ensure that your spine and supporting structures regain proper alignment and strength, reducing the risk of recurring issues.
During the corrective or restorative phase, you will typically receive adjustments less frequently than in the initial stage. Depending on your condition, you may also begin incorporating therapeutic exercises and stretches, either in our office or at home, to support stability and accelerate recovery.
It is common to experience mild flare-ups from time to time during this stage. This is a normal part of the healing process as your body continues to adapt and strengthen. The length of this phase varies for each patient and can last anywhere from a few months to a year or more, depending on the severity and duration of your condition.
At West Maple Chiropractic & Wellness, our team will work closely with you throughout this phase to help your body function at its best and move confidently toward long-term wellness.
